Farktography is an amateur photography contest open to all, hosted by the website Fark.com and voted on by its members.
Each contest is centered around a different theme and contestants may enter up to three photos per contest.
A new contest starts each Thursday morning at 12:00am (central) and voting is open until sometime early the next Sunday morning.
There are no prizes or other compensation for winning.
I post under the username BecauseISaidSo.
How do I vote for your photos?
First, thanks! To start, you'll need to create a Fark account.
After creating an account, click the Voting in progress link below to go to the contest page.
(If there's no "Voting in progress" link then there's not currently an active contest.)
Scroll through the photos and click the VOTE checkbox for the ones you like.
You can vote for as many as you like and you can vote as often as you want, but only one vote per photo is allowed.
After marking your votes, scroll back to the top of the page and click the vote button. That's it! You've voted.
If you want to see how others have voted, click the View Voting Results link at the top of the contest page.
Absolutely! Contests are open to anyone with a Fark account.
You can enter up to three photos in each contest, but a photo used in one contest can never be used in another.
Full contest rules and instructions on how to enter are here.
You can also get help from members of the Farktography Forums.
